It's been a good day.

Technically I've done nothing but read and play video games but it still feels like a good day. I haven't touched my written works and don't plan to for a while (when I head to work). Most of the books I'm reading are quite good. One of the new ones I picked up is hard to follow but I'll give it a shot.

so much for the weekend

I did very little in the way of actual work (if you don't count my writings) and very little happened. Ain't that the life of a poor man. Still, it was a worthwhile weekend and I'm ready to head back to work.

Cole's B-day party went nicely. He got a bunch of star wars stuff and some laser tag stuff. All I got him was ten dollars and a birthday card but eh.

I re-did my finances and discovered I'd better stop eating out so often. Not that it matters; McDonald's costs about the same as anything in the store (maybe less so). I hate being poor.

On that note check the other blog for something I haven't done in months.

More productive day

It's my day off (of course) and I spent it mostly playing WoW. I did however get more organized in my writings and spent about a half hour writing. My next book is coming along slowly but surely.

I've realized just today that I have yet to switch around my driver's license to reflect where I live currently. I know the DMV in Lagrange is closed today so I'll get that done some other time.

Other than that... Have been reading more lately. I got two books from the library and a DVD. Assasins Dawn I don't quite care for but the Star Trek novels always manages to pull through.

Last night was a boring night.

But the bright side is I went through a lot of my old writings and selected a few to finish (woot).

Outside of that nothing really new. I have been writing for a good chunk of my time almost everyday now (which is a healthy standard) and... I'm going to try and recover some old things from myspace but if I can't I"ll continue without them.

One last thing; I'd like to wish a happy belated birthday to my nephew who's ten now.

Lonely dog blues

Well mother got into an accident some two weeks ago and now we are sharing a truck just until she gets herself another vehicle. It's the only way she can manage to get to work and back and she can always drive me to work when she gets off of her work (at least she can today).

In other news... I still have not been back to swimming in a long time now. I don't have anything in the works and I haven't worked on my books for a while, but that will change... heh heh heh.

back to work today

I took yesterday off and am now back to work today. Outside of that nothing new; I've not been writing, just playing Command and Conquer games and world of warcraft.

Nothing much new

Today is guy day. This is the day (held once a month) where I can be a guy all that I want. I eat steak and fries for supper and watch Duke Nukem Let's Plays all day, pants optional. Woo!

Outside of that I'll be saying good bye to my truck soon. Mother needs it to go back and forth to work from now on (since she was in a car wreck, more on that later).

I'm going to try and update this routinely, no promises though.

Called mother

I woke up today at 6:30. I called mother and she invited me out to her house for supper. Thanks mom.

Sheila called me yesterday and said that Doyle is having a cookout on Memorial day and he will have the pool open. I'm quite grateful for this, summer is here after all.

Currently I've been listening to soundtracks to video games. It is a welcome reprieve from the music videos I sampled on youtube. I don't know if I have a best one, but here is what I'm listening to at the moment. Enjoy.

New blog coming

I had an idea about a week ago. When going for walks I looked at homes and priced them based on what I knew. I thought I did ok with it and had an idea. What if I took pictures of the homes in Lagrange and posted them on a blog describing whats nice about them and saying what I would pay for them. Nifty no?

Essential I'll put the pictures up with descriptions in between. At the end will be the price and whether or not I would buy it.

Outside of that, nothing new to blog about really. I do have plans for the future as I always do, but this time I have plans for vacations. The first is an Amtrak trip to Chicago. Tickets alone will be $46 roughly and I'll be in Chicago for the whole day. Overall the trip would cost me probably $100. I'll take it as soon as my truck gets fixed.

The other trip I plan on taking is one that I've wanted for a long, long time. If you know me at all Florida is the place for me. I won't move there anymore (at least I don't have plans to) but visiting will be more than nice. It will be a special occasion for me and not just because I've wanted to go for so long I can't say why now but I will after the trip. Expect photos and if possible a youtube video.

Since I've laid out most of my future plans the next few blogs will be about my daily life like it used to.

War of the worlds

This is the title to my next project which will by a joint project among many people. It will be an MMORPG to the tune of WoW with my own take. I'll not give specifics here but will give more in due time.

Today was also a good day. Nothing bad happened at work and mother got to see my apartment. Like usual she was slow to praise and quick to rebuke. She thought that they told me to clean it up. I wish she would drop that attitude of hers. I know she's had it all her life but kindness goes a long way.

I have yet to get out my new scanner. I don't have to yet so it's not pertinent. I'm on day three of doing everything I should daily and loving it.

While at work I saw posted a notice that listed different events and locations in the area, mostly for the summer months and one for winter in Shipshewana. I hope to be able to attend many of these events as it would make for a nice time. Hopefully Sheila and her family as well as mother and maybe Doyle and his family could accompany me. I'd gladly go by myself but it would be great if they came.

With regard to that I have a new blog coming up, this one unique among the ones I have done. That will be tomorrow's blog. Watch for it.

A new beginning

May 21st, 2013 will be a date I will remember for a long time. For the first time I clean up my apartment (Yep, a new apartment). I also put away laundry and shopped for groceries for the week. For the first time ever I'm doing everything like an adult would. Hoozah to that!

Most things have come to a climax. I won't reveal what I mean here but I have plans for the future. I plan on starting a guild of sorts, a gaming guild. I don't mean one where we play games, I mean one where we make games. I don't know how many will show up but I know there will be at least a few to start. I'll begin making adverts and posting them in restaurants and different libaries (those that have tack boards) when my truck starts running again. In short we will meet at a set period of time every week or so to discuss ideas and go over assignments. With luck, we will have our first game in two years tops.

More plans for my future to come.

Exciting times

Well I'm back to blogging my old stories again. I recently looked up how well they were doing as far as fans were concerned and voila! I have a fan base :D. In other news I'm back to full time at work and living on my own. Believe me living on your own and working part time is no picnic. I'll type more later.

Been a long time again

So I thought I would check in with some info. Right now I'm working three days a week and about to move out (woot). I hope to move out sometime soon but I need my tax money for that.

Otherwise not much new... I'll try to get back to updating this thing routinely again. Until then.
