I worked on my book for an hour but finally stopped as my shoulder was aching. I decided to watch videos on justin.tv and caught a rare stream of Final Fantasy Tactics. It was cool :D.

Christmas is nearly here
I know for a fact I'm not getting anything so I'm not too thrilled :P. Still, it is nice to hear from everyone and have the family together for that special day.
It has been a while since I seen dad. I missed thanksgiving so this will be an interesting Christmas. I doubt I will hear anything of it at all.

Have a holly jolly christmas
I'm prepped and nearly ready for Christmas! I have some little bit of shopping to do yet but I will be fully ready soon.
The weekend has passed (or is passing, I'm on day two :) ). I've done some good things over this weekend and accomplished most of what I wanted to get done.
It's been fun these last few weeks, I have no complaints. Nothing out of sync has happened. I go to work I come home I have a good time and the day's over. Believe me, I wish I could tell you about a trip I'm planning but sadly the money just simply is not there. Bills, food and a little leftover for books and games accentuate the majority of my money.
On a brighter note... well, perhaps next time :) Peace.

Trent and the rest of the guys had come over bewildered. "What did you call us here for Chris?"
Chris had a nice grin on his face. Without a word said he hit the replay button on the answering machine.
"Chris? I know you live there. I hired a private investigator to find you. Hey, me and the rest of the boys have 'borrowed' ourselves an intergalactic ship. Don't worry, the ship all ours. Call me back when you get this."
Trent was stunned. His mates gave a wild cheer.

Chris had been deep in thought as they drove home. Now as they walked up the steps to her home he gave her what for.
"Yes, I am." She stated. "It won't be that hard. It will take a few days at least but we can do it."
"I never knew you were so powerful..." He commented.
As they entered the phone beeped. They had a message...

Several guys laughed. Trent was washing dishes as a sizable amount of them had stacked up.
"What the hell do we do now?"
A large guy uncorked a wine bottle with his teeth. He then spat it out grinning. "I'm up for more bounty hunting, how about you?"
"Hey, here comes Chris." Trent announced from where he was standing.

Trent lit a cigarrette. He took a puff and then a drag of his whiskey. Behind him the party raged. Typical male behavior. Add women to the mix and things became what they became.
The music was so loud he was sure the neighbors would complain. It had been three days since they left. Trent wondered where they could have gone but shrugged it off. Wherever it was he hoped it was "fun".
Just then a taxi pulled up to her house.

"What happened."
"A trial of sorts." Molly said from where she sat.
"Did I pass?" He asked slightly scared.
"If you didn't then you would be out on the street with no memory of this place."

That day went by in a blur. Chris wondered if he wasn't on some kind of doped up ride from the way he felt.
Time went by however fast and however quickly he might have assumed it to go. Visions of his past, hanging out with his sister, learning she was a psychic, and ultimately what happened to her. Visions of his parents, his grades and what he did after high school passed in a blurred mirage. Finally his time in a private mercenary outfit and what he did flashed, up until he came to that bar.
Chris let all these visions pass, then a darkness came. When he finally came too it was dark as night.

"What do you hope to achieve?" Chris asked puzzled.
Molly paused a moment. "What you don't realize, and even many of our kind fail to is that there's much more to be discovered than meets the eye. Vastly huge amounts of information are available by research of our kind. An infinite discovery if you will."
"So what does this have to do with me?" Chris asked.
"You wish to find your sister correct?"
Chris nodded dumbly.

Chris slept somewhat well. He knew he was in the company of friends, or at the least people who trusted him. However, his mind was probably being read without warrant, without cause. He tried to brush that aside as he slept.

"What is this place?" Chris asked to his bewilderment. It looked as though they had entered an underground sanctum of some sort.
"A place for people like me." Molly replied.
Chris stared at her as she looked back to him. People like me?... It didn't take him long to realize they were all psychics.
Without a word said to anyone Molly went straight down a hallway and into a backroom. "Here's where we'll be staying." She said.
"Uh..." Chris began.
"I'll answer your questions in due time. For now, rest up."

"Hey looks as though Chris is leaving."
Trent turned to see them take off in a cab. Briefly he wondered where they were off to. Then his drunken mind told him he was thirsty.

"...sources close to the navy base report that they've lost contact with the enemy cruiser who launched a severe attack planet side some days ago. These same sources have indicated a possible attack from the aliens themselves. Channel 49 has also learned that possible rival factions are in the midst of working up a cu but when or where this will take place is a guarded secret. Back to you Glen."
Chris turned off the tv. Molly was at his side in her bed. For the first time in days his mind began to wonder. The old empire, the former kidnappings, his sister...
"I had no idea." Molly thought reflexively.
